The Bombe and the Bomb: How Turning and Oppenheimer Won WWII

Alan Turing and Robert Oppenheimer are two of the greatest scientific minds in history. Alan Turing is often hailed as the father of modern computing and Robert Oppenheimer is well known as the father of the atomic bomb. For a school project at Parsons, the New School for Design, I created a print journal with an accompanying digital version to tell the story of the many ways in which Turing and Oppenheimer’s lives and contributions overlapped, ultimately resulting in the victory of the Allied nations in WWII. In addition to the visual design, I also researched and wrote all of the content.
